One of the biggest blocks you may experience is the lack of clarity. Clarity on WHAT you need to do, clarity on HOW you need to do it for maximum efficiency (more on that later). Clarity on WHAT IF depending on what blocks and obstacles you may encounter.
What I see often is that entrepreneurs are trying to look at the big picture and set themselves BIG goals, and yet they have no idea how to get there.
Would you like to know WHY?
Because most people in the world are really really bad at chasing goals and you may be one of them. Even more you might be really bad at setting goals, as it may be completely not aligned with your nature, the way you are build to live in this world! You may also be not so great at making decisions or sticking to promises…
It all comes down to your personality and the way you are. And it does not matter how many articles and books you read, how many courses you take and even how many coaches you hire to get better at it. You need to find your own way to stay on track. And often the key is to stop setting HUGE goals altogether
That does not mean that you cannot succeed.
What makes me an expert on those things is that I am not good at goal setting, goal chasing OR keeping promises to myself. My secret is having a DRIVE, a WHY behind everything I do and trusting my journey, while allowing flexibility and fluidity in how I am getting there.
So here is a tip: GET SPECIFIC. What is the next immediate step you need to take, a habit to form, a skill to master (and that can be an existing skill) to get to just the next milestone towards your goal. Next immediate, not a pie in the sky. And make it really achievable and small.
THAT is key to the flow.
THAT is key to clarity.
THAT is key to visibility that gets clients.
Take a moment and jot down what is your next small goal you will be working towards immediately? And then focus on achieving that small goal.
And be kind to yourself. Rome was not built in a day!
